The Timmins Museum: NEC & Timmins Sports Hall of Fame bring you a night out with: BOOKS, BANDS, BEER & BEARDS!
On Friday September 29th 2017 at the Timmins Museum:NEC, Kevin Shea & Jason Wilson, coauthors of “The Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club: Official Centennial Publication” will share stories and anecdotes about some of the dramatic and exciting episodes in the team’s hundred year history. Published in partnership with the Toronto Maple Leafs and officially licensed by the NHL, this is the one and only official Toronto Maple Leafs Centennial publication! As the Leafs enter their 100th season, the book includes contributions from many of the biggest names in Leaf history including some of our very own. They will be joined by Graham MacLaughlan, co-author of “J.P. Bickell: The Life, the Leafs, and the Legacy”, who will discuss the mining magnate’s rise to prominence and the lasting legacy that he left for communities such as Schumacher.
Two time Juno-Award nominee and Canadian Reggae Music Award winner Jason Wilson & the Perennials will be providing musical entertainment throughout the evening.
It all starts at 7:00pm with a cash bar provided by our locally owned Full Beard Brewing Company.
