“Nice Women Don’t Want the Vote”, words spoken by Manitoba Premier Sir Rodmond Roblin to suffragist Nellie McClung, and now the title of the latest exhibition at the Timmins Museum which looks back on the suffrage movement in Canada. To celebrate this exhibition and to mark October as Women’s History Month, we are hosting a craftivist cross-stitching night. Create your very own piece of radical art! Participants will choose between two easy patterns.
