January 13 – April 03, 2016 (at the Black Gallery)
A new local exhibition opens at the Timmins Museum on January 13th by local photographer Carlo De Lorenzi. Entitled “Garage Barrage – A Photo Essay”, Carlo explores our local back lanes and backyards. “This project began as a sort of photographic character study of the place I have called home for 25 years, Timmins, Ontario.”
The exhibition will feature original photography and a number of pieces from the collection of the Timmins Museum. “Garages are wonderful places to find personal treasures; the museum is featuring some of our collection that came out of local garages and back yards!”
The exhibition will run until April 3rd, 2016, in the Black gallery of the museum. An artist talk held in conjunction with the exhibition will be held at the museum on Thursday, February 25th at 7pm.
