The Timmins Museum is pleased to welcome Jason Wilson back for another unforgettable evening of music, stories, and warmth.
Jason Wilson is a celebrated Canadian historian and reggae musician from North York, Ontario. A two-time Juno Award nominee, he has performed and recorded with an impressive list of internationally renowned artists, including UB40, Sly & Robbie, Alanis Morissette, Ernest Ranglin, Pee Wee Ellis, Dave Swarbrick, Ron Sexsmith, The Mighty Sparrow, Percy Sledge, Brinsley Forde (Aswad), Dick Gaughan, David Francey, and Brownman Ali.
This special event showcases selections from Wilson’s forthcoming album and show, Auld Acquaintance, accompanied by readings from its companion book, Evading Fame and Other Noble Pursuits. Blending storytelling, musicianship, and cultural insight, the evening promises to be both entertaining and enriching.
