Brandon Purdy

Brandon has been a Museum Attendant at the Timmins Museum since the winter of 2023. A proud Franco-Ontarian, he studied at Collège Boréal and brings a strong background in hospitality, retail, and customer service to his role.

At the Museum, Brandon has facilitated a variety of children’s programs in both English and French, sharing his enthusiasm for learning and community engagement. He is eager to deepen his knowledge of local history and culture and enjoys helping visitors make meaningful connections to the community’s past. His upbeat and welcoming demeanor ensures that every visitor’s experience is positive, memorable, and enriching.

The Timmins Museum: NEC, located at 325 Second Avenue, Timmins, Ontario, is owned and operated by the Corporation of the City of Timmins. The museum is situated on the traditional territory of the Mattagami First, Flying Post, and Matachewan First Nations located in Treaty 9.  These lands are home to many Ojibway, Cree, Oji-Cree, Algonquin and Metis people.
